Policy
Prohibited & restricted items.
Some items can't move through any carrier we use — air, ocean, parcel, or truck. Others move only with proper paperwork and pre-approval. Read below before you book.
Important
You confirm at booking that your shipment doesn't contain any of the items below. Misdeclared contents can result in seized cargo, fines, criminal liability, and termination of your account. When in doubt, ask us before booking.
Items we never accept
Drugs & controlled substances
- Narcotics, recreational drugs of any kind
- Cannabis and CBD products (origin/destination-dependent)
- Prescription medication without licensed shipper paperwork
- Tobacco, vaping products, e-cigarettes to restricted destinations
Hazardous materials
- Fireworks, flares, and pyrotechnics
- Flammable liquids and aerosols (gasoline, paints, solvents)
- Corrosives (acids, bleach in bulk)
- Radioactive material and infectious substances
- Lithium batteries shipped loose (not installed in a device)
High-value & restricted financial items
- Cash, traveller's checks, money orders, gift cards
- Loose precious gems, gold or silver bullion
- Lottery tickets and gaming materials
- Counterfeit items of any kind
Live & perishable items
- Live animals, insects, plants, or seeds
- Human or animal remains, body parts, organs
- Perishable food without proper temperature-controlled packaging
- Raw agricultural products subject to import quarantine
Illegal & regulated content
- Anything illegal in the origin or destination country
- Items violating export controls (ITAR, EAR, dual-use)
- Stolen goods or items lacking proof of ownership
- Sanctioned-destination shipments (OFAC, UN-listed countries)
Restricted — moves with paperwork
We can ship these, but only with the right declarations, licenses, and packaging. Get in touch and we'll handle the paperwork with you.
Restricted — pre-approval required
- Lithium batteries installed in devices (UN3481 declaration required)
- Alcoholic beverages (license required at both ends)
- Medical devices and pharmaceuticals (with proper documentation)
- High-value art, antiques, or collectibles (insurance required)
- Temperature-sensitive goods (reefer service + cold chain documentation)
- Dangerous goods rated 1–9 (DG declaration + special handling)
