This Privacy Policy explains how Leo Shipping Hub LLC (“Leo Shipping Hub,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you use our website and services.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, company name, password.
- Shipment details: pickup and delivery addresses, contact names, commodity descriptions, weights and dimensions.
- Identity verification documents, where required to book certain shipments.
- Communications you send us by email, chat, phone, or web form.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies, subject to your cookie preferences.
Information from third parties
- Carrier and logistics partners (e.g. tracking milestones and delivery confirmations).
- Payment processors, who share limited transaction status information with us.
2. How we use your information
- To provide quotes, book shipments, generate labels and documentation, and arrange transportation.
- To process payments and issue invoices.
- To communicate shipment status, account notices, and support responses.
- To operate an AI-powered support assistant that answers your questions; your chat messages are processed by our AI provider only to generate replies and are not used to train its models.
- To verify identity and comply with legal, customs, and security requirements.
- To improve our website and services and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
3. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the service:
- Carriers and logistics partners — to arrange and execute your shipments (carrier networks such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS and freight lines; customs brokers; and shipping technology providers we use to connect to them).
- Service providers — vetted vendors that operate parts of our service on our behalf and only as needed, including payment processing, secure hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, cloud document storage, an AI support assistant, sign-in, and analytics. Each is bound by contract to protect your information and use it solely to provide its service. We also connect to Intuit QuickBooks to record and reconcile our own customer invoices and vendor expenses; we never sell QuickBooks data or use it for advertising. A current list of key subprocessors is available on request.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, subpoena, customs authority, or to protect rights, property, and safety.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
We may add or change the service providers and subprocessors that help operate the service from time to time. A current list is available on request, and where required by law we will provide notice of material changes so you can review them.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are always on because the site cannot work without them; analytics is only used if you opt in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your information.
- Strictly necessary — sign-in and session security (for example our authentication cookies and a
leo_session activity cookie). These keep you signed in and protect your account. Always on. - Preferences — a
leo_locale cookie that remembers your language, set only when you choose a language. - Consent — an
lsh_consentcookie that stores your cookie choices for up to one year so we don't ask again. - Analytics (optional) — first-party page-view and click measurement using a random identifier in your browser (
lsh_anon_sid). It is created only if you allow analytics, involves no third-party trackers or profiling, and IP addresses are hashed. Turned off unless you opt in. - Marketing — currently unused. Reserved for future remarketing and set only if you opt in.
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, choose “necessary only,” or customize your choices. You can change your preferences any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in our footer.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide services, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA; EEA/UK residents have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “Last updated” date.
